I decided to ditch my cutlery and buy myself chopsticks. And perhaps learn Chinese. I think it will come in handy when our government will have censored the living hell out of us just like the Chinese government does.

If you’re a journalist you are not allowed to be too critical of the government for fear of ending up jobless and unloved.. CENSORED
If you’re an enduser who simply wants to bop to Miley Cyrus’s last tune on YouTube you are not allowed to for fear of stumbling upon some video which might depict unsuitable things and since you’re not intelligent enough to know right from wrong….CENSORED.
Oh…and you would like to access Google to search for something..? good luck… CENSORED.
So to add insult to injury, Google has been banned from Turkey, once again. I fail to see the necessity of these actions. You cannot give someone supposed liberty of speech and information and then keep censoring the tools they use to inform themselves. These attempts to turn us into Islamic drones are in vain.
A population thrives if treated properly and respectfully, AKPs disrespect and insulting manner is more than enough. We’ve all had it.
I won’t be surprised if one day we wake up and our computers will be gone, censored, forbidden.
Evading the bans placed on these websites by changing our DNS isn’t the right approach. We might all end up being able to use them but it won’t solve the problem.
