Dinner a la Dutch

Category : :), daily doings, istanbul, them

I’m back on my night shifts. That seems to be all that my life is about lately, lots of night shifts and bad sleep.
Tonight I had the pleasure to finally meet the highly controversial Hans.
We met up with him and Erkan in Arnavutkoy because I had to make sure I didn’t miss my shuttle to work at 11pm.

I met with Erkan earlier and caught up with him on the latest political goss. We also gossiped about other bloggers and rankings and the unusually silly lengths to which people get to have more traffic.

We had lots of drinks while waiting for Hans to arrive, which he did, one hour late. But we still adore him so that’s okay. After a disagreement with the restaurant that I had chosen, we ended up at Antonio Ricci in Arnavutkoy. Very nicely decorated hype Italian restaurant. Hans and Erkan ordered drinks and steaks and I ordered Gnocchi. mmm.

Talking politics, life and blogging is always my favorite subject in the world so that is exactly what we did. I tried to get a picture of Hans but all I was allowed to snap was his hand, so that is what I did. Till next time ;)

Thanks for the great night boys!

it was a pleasure for me to meet you as well, Idil!
Next time an Ossabuco at a real Italian restaurant..))

It sounds like you guys had a great night out! I always wondered why the bloggers in Turkey didn’t hook up.

Hans, I must say that you have a very attractive hand!!

Hans: An Ossobucco would be delightful! Even though I have no idea where we would find a good restaurant that makes OB in Istanbul.
Anonymously Yours: It’s always fun to meet bloggers. We’re all just so busy that its hard to find a common time to meet up but when we finally do it’s always a blast.

Idil, I can make Ossabucco!
